Question by w2000: Do adults who have sex with children care about the effect of their abuse?
Serious question...serious answers please. Is an abuser a heartless individual, or someone just not in touch with their feelings? Are they selfish and uncaring, or someone who cant help him/herself?

Many interviews done with child molestors have confirmed that many have a mental illness and they dont deal with what emotions that they do have. They are often times separated from the real world and what is acceptable and thus above the realm of emotions.
